Lorries and buses (including coaches) must be tested each year. The first test should be 12 months after the vehicle was first registered with DVLA (Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency). Trailers must be tested one year after they were first sold or supplied.
If your vehicles gross weight is over 3.5 ton, then it will be classed as a heavy goods vehicle. You can normally check the gross weight of your vehicle by looking in the owners manual or it is normally shown on a plate or sticker fitted to the vehicle.
You can book your MOT up to 93 days ahead. We recommend booking as far in advance as possible as our ATF lane can be very busy.
