COVID-19 Business Updates

During the COVID-19 restrictions, we continue to remain open for business with reduced staffing to ensure your you and your business is supported during these unforeseen times. We have introduced strict social distancing measures within our dealership and to keep everyone safe please only visit our Yeovil based dealership if you have an appointment, and you and your household are free from COVID-19 symptoms and not self-isolating.
:- Due to limited staffing at this current time, our Service, Parts and Rentals departments will remain closed on Saturdays. We are taking timed appointment bookings for Sales enquiries which will be subject to availability, please ensure you book in advance. Please speak to a member of our sales team for more information.

Heavy Vehicle (HGV) Testing. (Statement from DVSA)
During this time all testing has been suspended by VOSA. As the government relax measures in place we will be keeping everyone up to date as to when testing becomes available once again.
Thursday 28th May 202 - Update
VOSA has issued annual test exemptions to heavy vehicles which are due to have their annual test in June 2020. This includes vehicles that were originally made exempt in March 2020.
When will we be providing testing?
We are working towards resuming heavy vehicle testing in June. This involves talking to our staff, ATFs, the industry and operators about how we can provide a service which is safe for all involved and helps the return to regular testing. Further information about our plans will be provided in due course.

Collecting your new vehicle
From the 1st June, in line with government guidance, showrooms in England will be open (Volkswagen await guidance from the relevant authorities in Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands on any similar policy changes, but of course remain digitally open at all locations for enquiries.) All handovers will be completed following procedures designed to support social distancing and reduce risk. Our team will be in touch to confirm your handover appointment date and time and explain the steps that will be followed to complete the handover.
Planning your visit
In order to maintain social distancing and manage the volume of visitors to our site, we will be asking all customers to book a timed appointment before visiting. Please contact us to discuss your preferred date and time.
Even when our showrooms is closed, or for those who prefer to stay home, for now, there are many ways to view and experience our products online and we welcome virtual appointments for new and used vehicles. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
In order to try to ensure the safety of staff and customers we will be operating a contactless approach where possible, and aim to make all appointments efficient and memorable, whether these are to view a specific model, take an unaccompanied test drive or bring your vehicle to us for service or repair. Our teams are committed to observing all recommended hygiene measures and to ensure we keep a minimum of 2 metres apart we’ve adapted the layout of our showrooms and service areas.
Caring for your vehicle
Our van centre remains open and can offer different ways to care for your vehicle while maintaining social distancing when your vehicle needs a service or repair. Our ‘Contactless’ approach will allow us to ensure we maintain your vehicle and get you back on the road as soon as possible. Courtesy cars, collect and delivery
We will be able to advise you on alternative transport and mobility services they can provide, such as courtesy cars. Some of these services may be limited or withdrawn during the current situation. Please contact us for more information.
